Upstream or downstream, the ask is the same: traceable material, tested valves, and the paperwork that goes with them. This range is built to ANSI and tested to API 598.
Procurement here is almost always tied to a schedule: turnarounds and planned shutdowns, where the replacement list is drawn up well in advance and a single item that misses holds up the whole line. What settles it is not the lowest price but the combination of stock that genuinely exists, a pressure class that matches the flange on site, and certificates ready at inspection rather than following on.

Every valve is leak tested, shell and seat, to the API 598 procedure before it ships. That is the industry-recognised standard, and it is what makes the figures on the variant pages comparable.
EN 10204 3.1 certificates are available, with the heat number marked on the part. That is what an auditor looks for, not a letter of conformity.
ANSI 150 and ANSI 300 are drilled differently and do not interchange. State the class with the size — both, every time.
Gate to isolate, globe to throttle, check to stop reverse flow. Using a gate valve to throttle destroys its seat permanently.
