Heavy equipment fails in two places: joints that weep and pipe that vibrates until it cracks. What it needs is the right compression fitting and enough clamps to hold it still.

Unclamped hydraulic pipe cracks near the joint, not mid-span. DIN 3015 clamps damp that vibration out — the heavy series for larger diameters and higher pressure.
A DIN 2353 fitting grips the tube OD with a cutting ring. Precision tube holds its OD tolerance for exactly that; ordinary pipe does not and will weep.
DIN 2353 uses a 24° cone on metric tube; JIC SAE J514 uses a 37° flare with an inch UNF thread. Match the fitting to the system you already have, not the other way round.
A filler breather with an air filter lets the tank breathe without pulling mine dust into the oil. Cheap, and it decides how long the pump lasts.
