Two parts, no tools: the nipple and coupler mate with a push (or a twist, on the 203 TGW). The internal poppet/ball valves seal both halves when separated — the line does not drain.

Why buy QRCs from us

  • All three families from stock — ISO 7241-A, ISO 7241-B, 203 Series TGW.
  • Nipples & couplers sold separately — one coupler, many nipples.
  • Three body materials — SS316 AISI 316, carbon steel EN-10277-3, brass DIN-EN 12164.
  • Three seal compounds — NBR, Viton, EPDM — picked for your medium.
  • Dust plugs & caps colour-coded and tethered — the cheapest part that decides coupling life.

Quick Release Couplings

ISO 7241-A / 7241-B / 203 TGW · 1/4″ – 2″ · to 950 bar
Ready stock Safety factor 4 No tools

For hydraulic and pneumatic lines that connect and disconnect frequently: three families — push-in ISO 7241-A and 7241-B, plus the screw-locking 203 Series TGW to 950 bar for shock and heavy vibration.

State the family (or your old brand), size, thread (BSPP/NPT), medium & temperature — quotes back within 2 working hours.

Pressure falls as the bore grows — and note: ISO 7241-B does not always exceed A across all sizes (see 1 1/2″ and 2″). All figures carry a safety factor of 4 on working pressure.

Families

Three families — and where each is used

ISO 7241-A

Industrial hydraulics, agricultural machinery, snow plough attachments, truck/trailer connections, mobile applications — metal perch valve alignment.

ISO 7241-B

Industrial hydraulic lines, offshore, steam systems, cleaning equipment, food/chemical processing, water & coolant lines — metal-to-metal valve stop.

203 Series TGW

Mobile, construction, oil & gas, material handling — the threaded collar holds heavy mechanical loads, shock and vibration to 950 bar.

Identifying a coupling: knurled sleeve = push-in ISO; threaded collar = 203 TGW. Read the stamped markings: maker · standard · bore DN in mm (DN20 = 3/4″) · material. Dust plugs & caps: the cheapest part on the list — and the one that decides coupling life: grit on a face gets driven into the seal at the next connection, and then into the system.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will ISO 7241-A connect to ISO 7241-B?

No. The three families do not intermate — ISO 7241-A, ISO 7241-B and the 203 Series TGW are separate patterns.

Why does pressure drop at larger sizes?

A larger bore carries more end load at the same pressure — force equals pressure times area.

Which seal for my application?

NBR for standard hydraulic oil; Viton for high temperature; EPDM for water, coolant and steam. Tell us the medium and the temperature — we pick it rather than defaulting.

Do I need dust caps?

On site work, yes — grit that lands on a face gets driven into the seal at the next connection, and then into the system. The cheapest part on the list, and the one that decides how long a coupling lasts.

What are the brand equivalents of each family?

203 TGW = Gromelle 6000 · Hansen W6000 · Tuthill 6000. ISO 7241-A = Parker 6600 · Snap-Tite 61 · Faster ANV. ISO 7241-B = Faster H · Aeroquip FD45 · Parker 60.

How do I identify the coupling I have?

Check the sleeve: knurled = push-in ISO; threaded collar = 203 TGW. Then read the markings: maker, standard, bore DN in mm (DN20 = 3/4″), material.

Do nipples and couplers come in pairs?

No — sold separately. A single power pack may need one coupler and multiple nipples for different attachments.

What is the safety factor?

4, across all families and sizes — applied to the quoted working pressures, not burst figures.

Are they in stock for Indonesia?

Yes — all three families in our regional warehouses in Singapore and Malaysia, out within 24 hours of your PO; quotes within 2 working hours.
